As described by her fiancee, Lindsay is a wonderfully brilliant and kind hearted person. She is loyal and will put others needs before her own. Being a 6th grade teacher has given her the tools to superintend Josh's antics. However it is her heart, and love of Disney, is what resonates with Josh's heart and gives Josh a feeling of belonging. Her heart has given Josh's heart a place to call home.
